To use the search function, enter search text into the search bar on the navigation bar.
You will then be brought to the search result page, with a list of Cubes, Dimensions, Processes and Chores that match the search text.
You can adjust the number of search results that will be shown on each page through the dropdown box of the search page.
Clicking on each row item will also redirect you to another page with detailed information regarding the Chore, Dimension, Process or Chore that you have selected.
By default, the search text is being searched in the following fields for each item type:
The search criteria being used can be seen beside the search bar, with “All” being the default criterion used for searches.
When the Control Objects toggle has been triggered, Control Objects will also be included in the search results.
The search criteria can be modified through the dropdown menu beside the search bar.
When the name criterion has been selected through the dropdown menu, only items which names contain the search text will be returned.
Additional search criteria can also be added/removed by clicking on the plus/minus boxes beside the search criteria dropdown menu.
The items that match with all the search criteria will then be returned. For example, the search below returns cubes that have both “revenue” and “reporting” in its name.
Search function is case insensitive. For example, the cube named “Allocation Calculator” is returned even though the search text “allocation” is not an exact match.
Search function uses substring matching. For example, the cube named “Allocation Calculator” is returned since “calc” is a substring of its name.
